Are you talking about H1B or the PERM application because your question sounds like it applies more to the PERM process.
If its H1B, then there's no question of
option. Your H1b is tied to a specific employer for a specific job/category.

I would highly recommend that you first read up about the H1B visa. Your H1B is per employer. Why are you asking about the next company when your current/intended employer could fire you.
