Is E2 7LL a nice area to live in London? (neighbourhood, safe)

Do you have a job lined up in London? There is no point picking a neighbourhood until you know where you will be working otherwise you could find yourself doing a multi-hour commute.

That area can be bustling on Sundays with visitors trying to find Columbia Road flower market, and those going to Brick Lane to and from the market. I've walked along around that area at night during weekdays and weekends several times and it seems to be safe enough (never had problems). I've never lived in the area though, so I can't give you a definite answer. It's close to Shoreditch, spitalfields, and Bethnal Green. Also walkable to London Fields.
