The "Central Branch" seems very underused. I'm always surprised when people even know this exists. I think only 3-4 trains run on it total per day, and don't most of them skip Hicksville and all the Main Line stops? You should, in theory, be able to do a Babylon-Huntington trip very easily this way with a transfer at Hicksville. You could do Lindenhurst to Port Jefferson the same way, for that matter... but of course,
that would make way too much sense so it doesn't operate like that at all.

Very nice. I can't even imagine how expensive something like that would be to build in this day and age. Too bad we didn't get more of them back when it cost $5 a day to pay a 30 man crew.
