anyone ever run a background check on a potential nanny? What company or website did you use? What was the cost and how long did it take?
Thanks!

The background companies will probably check all public records. I would check his/her references, and when you do, ask those references if there is anyone else you can talk to that would know the nanny. Ask the nanny for names of people not on the resume, so she has to provide them on the spot. You can usually check local criminal and civil records, but that only works if the nanny has lived in the area for a good amount of time. Good luck.

You would be amazed how much you can learn about someone (if there is something to be learned ) on pipl.com

A lot of it outdated or inaccurate. Then again, maybe I do live in Baltimore and I just don't know it yet.
