Live in Farmingville. Have home insurance under a local broker, which I think may be kind of high, but not positive. Auto under Geico, which seems a little high as well. and now looking for Life for my wife and I.

Would be great to have 1 agent who could handle all 3, and have it be affordable. Is there such a thing anymore in Suffolk? FYI, I dont live near the water.

Anyone in the same boat who found a solid resolution?

Most of the larger companies are not really selling on the island or are really expensive because they are reducing their exposure. You will need to look at local companies. Also some of the local companies by themself give you better rates than the bundled larger companies. I would try harlesville or call a few brokers and have them shop the policies around for you. There are still people that do this and they are quite exceptional at their job.

I know a few brokers who can help, D'angelo insurance, in brentwood I think, specialized insurance in patchogue or medford, malpiggli and salvaggio in Islip terrace. You can look them up online. I used to work for a wholesale insurance co. (laid off now) call them and see what they have to offer.
