Can someone do me a big favor and tell me how to figure out Nassau County property tax using the tax information on Nassau's website.

I am adding school + county tax with no exemptions and it is always different than what' listed on MLSLI. The taxes on the Nassau's website always seem lower that what's listed on MLSLI.

Thanks you very much in advance, you guys are great!

There really shouldn't be a difference. Did you check if you're looking at the same tax year? Could there be a Village tax? (that wouldn't show up on the Nassau County website).

In addition to the school property tax, there are also the several other special district (library district, fire district, water district) as well as several town (general, part town for areas not in a village, parking, park, highway, etc., etc.) property taxes.

Village tax, that's it! Is there any way of figuring out what village tax might be assessed, I.E. places like Floral Park, Stewart Manor.

Thanks...

Sorry, unless your Village has a website with the info, you'll have to call!

Suffolk works differently. Each Town has its own website and the contents of each varies; some are "better" than others, it all depends on what you're looking for.
