We are looking to do our siding and are looking for any good contractor references in Nassau. Also we are planning to start the work in November, any pros/cons doing this job in late fall when the weather is colder?
look for some recommendations from neighbors. You can also call up a few of the siding supply places to get some recommendations. for instance ABC siding in hicksville, or allied building materials, these supply material, not do the jobs.
I had mine done as part of a dormer job so, the contractor subbed out the siding to a guy who only works for contractors.
you shouldn't have to go to one of the big stores to get a good job for your siding, and in a lot of cases its very hit or miss on whether a quality job is done as they are subcontracting the work out.
