We need to go to JFK by taxi/shuttle. Normally, for work, I use supershuttle, but with an infant you have to provide your own infant chair for the transportation and we don't want to travel with the infant chair.
Does anybody know a company that provide the infant chairs themselves?
Yeah, so, we have been calling several taxi companies, and it's a hit or miss. Some provide child seats, some don't. But some do, so, we'll go with one of them.
I must be very naive and I was expecting all those big companies like Supershuttle providing those things, but I have seen that that is not the case.
You can ask but there is no guarantee that they will show up with one - no matter who you use. ANd when they show up without, what will you do? Taxis and car service are exempt from car seat laws. And if they do come with one, are you sure it's installed correctly and not expired?
Bottom line, if you want a reliable car seat, bring your own.
