I was looking at a house that is located in valley stream. On MLS, it's listed over 12k, but on nassau county property site, its just over 8k WITHOUT star....any explanation?

Is there a site to find that info? I thought valley stream didnt have village tax.

Part of Lynbrook is an Incorporated Village.

You need to call them for taxes.

I've seen real estate listings that estimate the taxes. I'd be hesitant to believe what the realtor posted without verifying it.

Some houses in Valley Stream are in the Village and some are not.

Contact the Village of Valley Stream with the address of the house for Village property tax information at 516-825-4200.

Some Realtors are known for under listing the tax to get a sale. Verify for yourself
