My sons took me to the Cooperidge Inn for the Sunday brunch for Mom's Day. I was never there before but need to recommend it for everyone! Beautiful, quaint place. Fantastic food. Great service. The variety was absolutely astounding! Everything was fresh and delicious.
No, my relatives don't own it and I know no one that works there. LOL
Just want to share a wonderful find. When you are out east, take the time to eat there. It's well worth it.
BTW, it's on Sound Ave, in Calverton.

Been there many times for brunch and it is excellent. Not to play Walter but I think it is actually in Wading River.

Yes...you're right....sorry that I didn't get the proper town, village, hamlet but, as we all know, every thing east of the William Floyd is one boring cow pasture after another.

Been there many times for brunch, love it there. Its become a tradition last few years to go there before pumpkin picking in the fall.

In the fall they have an Oktoberfest and we usually try to go for that. They have music and food and beer outside. It's a nice place.

Pretty much correct. Suprised you didn't say east of 112!

Wading River, no. Baiting Hollow, I agree but the website says Calverton. But my son lives in Baiting Hollow and it is a Calverton zip code. So go figure.
My son has been to the Oktoberfest and loved it, too. I used to pass it going to and from work for the last 3 yrs (no longer boo hoo) and it was always packed. I am so glad I found a place I truly love!
Speaking of that, went to JR's Steakhouse a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. Now, I am pretty sure that is Calverton. I guess if I was a big meat eater, I may have found something to like. Stupid me, going to a steakhouse. but it is always packed there too, no matter what time of day. Figured it must be good! Maybe it is if you like steak!

Ha! What is more boring than strip mall after strip mall? Red light after red light? Give me those pastures and vineyards and farms any day!

Reading reviews/opinions of restaurants always entertains me - especially those here posted regarding this hole - which I've always considered nothing more than a sub-standard tourist-trap.
