Is there no requirement for the officers to have weight commensurate with height?
Drove by a broken traffic light and seems to me these men, in thos instance were huge,
Would be hard pressed to be in foot pursuit.
But maybe it was me?

Another poorly thought out complaint by the resident crank job. Yes, a cop may be overweight. No, you have no clue what physical shape they're in. There are 6'5", 300lb football players who run the 40 in 5 seconds. Way faster than you! A cop passes a basic physical exam that shows he/she is somewhat mobile and shouldn't keel over running a 100 yard dash, but mostly cops do their work by radio, intimidation, strength in numbers or superior firepower. They don't have to chase you around. They just radio to the next team...or call in the chopper.

They have guns, and tasers, and cars.

But yeh govt employees have to be in shape because tax payers foot their medical.

They have to be like soldiers and sailors. They need to pass physicals.
