11 of the 15 9/11 hijackers from Saudi Arabia.

However, Mr. President identified eight companies during his presidential campaign that appear to be tied to hotel interests in Saudi Arabia.

OOOPS

CNN has your answer:
"The executive order bars all people hailing from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen -- or at least 218 million people, based on 2015 data published by the World Bank -- from entering the United States. Those countries were named in a 2016 law concerning immigration visas as "countries of concern."

Yeah, if it was a temporary halt on all Muslims as the looney lefties are shrieking, it would certainly have included those from Saudi Arabia (not to mention Pakistan and Indonesia, the two largest Muslim nations). Guess that lefty talking point is false.

Is it just me or is the crybaby left and the Democratic Party mainstream going a bit hysterical on this one? Further swelling the Republican ranks. Heck, even CNN is tying to calm them down.

I love how the liberals are harping on the fact that Trump has no interests in the Countries that were banned. As if Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen have a need for luxury hotels. They're ranting and raving that UAE, Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia aren't included in the ban as if they're on the same level as those other hellhole countries.

Ten days into Trump's presidency and I'm still enjoying the popping sound of liberal heads. Screw the murderous Muslims.

So what are the facts? Why isn't Saudi Arabia on the list? I'm concerned, aren't you?

They are not on the list for a couple reasons. One is that their government is not openly hostile to the United States. The second and real reason is that they control between 10 and 15 percent of the US economy. If we **** them off and they pull their money out of the US, we go into an instant recession. Michael Moore actually detailed this throughly in one of his "documentaries"

Oh what a steaming pile of meadow muffins. I suppose you went with a leprechaun atop your unicorn to watch this Michael Moore documentary too?

To answer your question focus on CNN's last sentence:

"The executive order bars all people hailing from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen -- or at least 218 million people, based on 2015 data published by the World Bank -- from entering the United States. Those countries were named in a 2016 law concerning immigration visas as "countries of concern."

Trump's spokespeople this weekend made it clear they may be adding or subtracting from the Obama/US Congress 2016 list as circumstances warrant. So rest assured Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc may be added to this temporary measure.

The staged frighty-scared response of the lefty fringe actually amuses the American majority who see this temporary bar on 7 countries to be a reasonable and prudent (and overdue) reaction to Islamic terror and imperfect vetting.

Gotta laugh at these nimwit lib v con kool aid sniffers who suddenly love Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Saudi is excluded because half the repubs and dems have long time money ties to Saudi oil interests going back to WWI and Standard oil and Bush's (and probably Trump's ) daddies and granpas. We've been in cahoots with the Saudi's for a long time...and they burn us behind our backs every time too, tweaking supply, prices, backing terror cells while getting tons of aid from us for letting us put in bases and play regime changers.

Wouldn't expect right wing chest thumpers to consider historical perspective at all. Pesky facts. Right wing sheep are just a bad as left.
