I have wooden futon that I need to throw away. Live in an apartment building. Can I leave it at the dumpster? Are there places in the 3TV area where this kind of stuff can be disposed off? I don't have a truck, maybe need to rent a uhaul to haul it away?
Thanks ubering! Landlord doesn't allow it but I see tenants leaving their furniture by the dumpster..they are probably doing it regardless and let the landlord take care of it.Looks like the dump in the Merrick requires proof of residence in the town.
I've been trying to sell a couch for over 2 weeks now and I'm asking less than. $100 and its practically new. So far I had 3 people bail on me. Honestly I can't even give this thing away. What is wrong with people?
Try Listing it on OfferUp or LetGo. It's a free community based app (can get for free on your phone) that has buyers that are way less flaky. My husband and I buy things from there all the time and you rate the sellers and buyers. The buyers and seller's are way less shady. You can also put it on there for free if you really want to get rid of it fast.
Stop using skellslist.
Every homeowner should own a sawzall and a box of heavy duty black garbage bags.
I know someone who disposed of a body that way once. You also need cement.
