There are old semidetached wood frame houses sprinkled throughout the oldest parts of Long Island. I’ve seen them in Woodmere and I am sure they also exist in some of the older north shore village areas, too.

Believe it or not there is a very short block of attached houses on Meadow St in Garden City, closest to the intersection of Franklin Ave.
Duplexes (what are called "twin houses" in other parts of the country) are fairly common in Stewart Manor.
