My company is relocating me to New York and we are considering Baldwin or Baldwin Harbour for housing options. I'm looking for information on schools, diversity, programs for children? We are a large blended family and it is important to me that the children are busy and challenged in school. Thanks!

Baldwin was listed in the top 25 diversified places to live in Money magazine. Other nearby good diverse areas are Lakeview and part of Rockville Center.

Elmont is not as nice an area, but some people feel it will up be and coming if money from Belmont racetrack's video terminals comes in.

Cambria Heights (in Queens) is another revitalizing area. Main advantage is lower property taxes due to being in NYC.

Smile 4 bedroom colonial home for sale

If you have not settled on Baldwing and would like to considere Hicksville, let me know. We are selling a completely update home that is in move in condition. The schools are excellent and very blended. All three of my children are on the honor roll and are involved in the community in various sport programs.
