Hello all. I am interested in living on the West Coast, and specifically Southern California. I work in finance, insurance, and investments, and have a great deal of experience retirement plans and helping individuals plan for retirement. Question I have is, it seems very hard to find employment in my industry, in most industries, while living on the other side of the country. Obviously, the distance is a big determiner, as I can't just pop in for an interview tomorrow afternoon. Seems like an employer truly has to have a need and you have to be an exceptional individual with a rare or exotic talent in order to gain attention from employers in other parts of the country.
