So this pool fence company installed my fence and they drilled through the electricity wires that power my pool Pump and backyard lights. I had no idea my wires were only a few inches underneath the surface. Contact says they r not responsible for lines above 12 inches. Maybe it's not legal to have lines so close to surface Idk but I think it was their job to find out whats undearneath where they plan to drill. I heard it's even illegal to not create a 811 ticket before digging even one inch deep. If they had at least told me to find out myself before they come. Now I have no pool fence with exposed electrical wiring with kids around and no money to fix it. Anything I can do about this?

They originally sent their electrician to find out if they were at fault. He didn't find anything and said it's safe. I called my pool guy and he discovered the burned post. He said how dangerous this is. Now the company wants to send their same electrician to fix wiring but we don't even trust his work and will still feel unsafe having my kids swimming and touching the fence.
