I stopped visiting 2 years ago. Not surprised it's gotten worse.

Residents need to start wearing ICE uniforms/costumes and walk around. That should scare off about 99% of the vendors and diaper throwers.

That's a real shame. I live nearby and visited there for many years when my boy was little. Maybe we could organize a "Candy Cane Lane Cleanup Committee" so the homeowners could get some help with the cleanup. I know I'd volunteer a few hours. Why the LAPD can't stop these "vendors" is beyond me.

But they are hard working entrepreneurs!

Nothing says Christmas spirit like buying sneakers and fried hot dogs from the back of some rando's van.

These illegal street vendors are the backbone of our economy according to Garcetti .

They're small business owners! They aren't hurting anyone!
They just want their piece of the pie and they'll break any of the stupid American laws to get what they want.
We must rush to legalize their behavior though because of that mean old Trump that wants a return to law and order.

I bet with a couple hundred bucks we could buy 1000 of these light-up trinkets and hand them out for free just ahead of these vendors.

Seriously, can any of you imagine throwing a used diaper into somebody's Christmas display?
