Funny Bonin is blaming "right wing radio hosts " for the recall

He only has himself to blame .

--

A group of Westside residents outraged over “road diets” imposed over the summer in Playa del Rey and more planned in the city formally announced a campaign Thursday to recall Councilman Mike Bonin.

“My job is to represent their interests and values, and not be distracted by right-wing radio hosts, or by my former opponents, and their supporters, who have been calling since election night for a recall that would cost the taxpayers of Los Angeles millions of dollars.”

I guess the main point of the anti-Bonin signs on Venice was to get the media's attention.

"Right wing" radio hosts. Talk about the metaphorical "dog whistle" to his base.

BTW, Mike, those two "right wing" radio hosts supported marijuana legalization, you ill-informed, mentally deranged cretin. There are no "wings" here, but rather an outrage against you plutocrats and your lack of an intrinsic moral compass.

I'd like to volunteer to help the Recall Bonin campaign, or give money to it. He embodies the failed out of touch leftist elite and he needs to be tossed on his ass. A successful recall could change a lot in L.A. and not just in the district - it would put the rest of the Council on notice that they could be next, and could actually get them to behave or at least behave better.

Very arrogant to think he could ADD time to resident's commute and get away with it. But the problem is all these local politicians are comfortable and think they can get away with anything just because they have gotten away with it for so long. Bonin and others want to force their pet project fantasies on L.A residents. L.A isn't a small European village . It's the second largest city in America.

Commuting to work via bike simply isn't practical for the majority of residents. Also how many residents have access to a shower at work to change into fresh clothes like Bonin?

What idiot thinks it's a good idea to cut a lane on an already congested street without having a plan in place to divert or eliminate a portion of the traffic.

They can have mine when they pull the steering wheel and shift knob from my cold, dead hands.
