Hello,
I have been served with a 60 day notice to evict, reason being the landlord is moving back. I believe that he actually will not be moving back and I'm wondering how I could prove that. Does anyone have any ideas/thoughts? A lawyer at the Tenant's Rights Clinic suggested asking neighbors to keep an eye out, but I'm afraid they may tip the landlord off... Thanks!

If you live in a rent controlled unit, if the landlord/owner is moving into your unit, he has to provide you with relocation expenses, and that is a hefty amount.

Bob.
