[SIZE=2]Hi

I will be moving to LA in the next few months from Australia and was wondering what places you recommend to buy cheaper new furniture and household goods from. Along the lines of ikea etc.

Thanks in advance for your time

Ikea is good for cheap furniture. You might also try looking on Craigslist or going to some garage sales. People move all the time and get rid of things.

For cheap household things, I would try Target, 99 Cent Only stores (which are purple and green outside and big stores -- that's their real name), K-Mart, Best Buy (for electronics), Costco.
