Hi, me and my mom moved here not too long ago from NYC, many brasilians there... just curious if any of you guys have met a lot here or where they are... I read somewhere about there being brasilian stores in Culver City but we haven't checked it out yet... do you find that you see many here or is it rare???

I have met quite a few (both immigrants who became U.S. citizens as well as Brazilians here studying at local universities like U.S.C.).

But there are not as many here (as a % of the overall pop.) as there are in places like Florida, New York, New Jersey, & Massachussets. Brazil is MUCH closer to the east coast of the U.S. than it is to California.

There is an enclave of Brazilian businesses and restaurants in Culver City/West LA along Venice Blvd. See this link.
