Back in Oct 06 when I was looking for jobs...the current job I have, asked me if I had any prior obligations coming up within a couple months. I told them straight up I had planned a cruise since Aug 06 and we leave in the middle of May 07. I got the job.

Man, that cruise was fuuuuuuuuun, 4 night Baja.

If it is paid for, tell them in the interview. People have lives. If it is a decent employer, they will understand. I work at a large corporation and people go on a long vacation within their first year of employment. This of course has to be discussed prior to hiring.

I work in a very small office (one of which only works 4 days a month) - we recently hired a 4th gal - during the interview process she "forgot" to mention that she paid for a week cruise, sailing 2 weeks after she started. Boss had no problem with that and gave her the time off. Be up-front and enjoy your vacation
