How do they have separate forums while Lubbock does not? Both Cookeville and Las Cruces have smaller metro areas.

Just wondering.

Probably because Las Cruces is the second largest city in NM, and one of the fastest-growing population-wise.

NM has only 4 larger cities--ABQ, Rio Rancho, Las Cruces and Santa Fe. Everything else is 40K or much, much less.

Lubbock is a smaller metro area in a state with several much larger cities.

Don't have a clue about TN, as I am not that familiar with it.

According to this web site, the Lubbock MSA has 267,000 people:

According to the same site, Las Cruces's MSA has 199,000.

I'm not against Las Cruces having its own forum, I'm just for more cities in Texas having theirs.

They largely determine which cities get forums by number of the threads and active members, not by population. There aren't all that many threads, and I'm the only active member from Lubbock, so I really don't blame them.
