I could see this in the future leading to Mercer taking over Navicent and making the medical center the official hospital of the Mercer Medical School.

"Through the Center for Disruption & Innovation, we will connect the brightest minds in health care and engineering to collaborate on projects that will enhance service delivery, efficiency and technology."
Mercer President Bill Underwood said the center would further the university's relationship with Navicent Health.
"I think this is the next step in the expansion of our partnership," he said.
