We are doing great! Love Fort Fairfield, and my son is very happy with the school here.

Just have a couple of questions; where is a good place to buy good used furniture resonably priced? Also a washer and dryer. And the best place to buy snow tires? I have all seasons as I mentioned in a couple of old posts but want to get winter tires to be on the safe side. As for furniture if anyone knows anyone or has any for sale near me please let me know. I need living room and dining furniture. WE had to leave most of our furniture in storage in SC.

Thanks

Hey Veranda,
Catholic Charities in Caribou has excellent used furniture of all kinds, very reasonably priced. Including washers and dryers. It's over by Cary Medical Center.
You can try Buy/Swap/Sell guide too.
As for tires, I have used Hogan Tire and find them very good. I'm not sure about good shops in Fort, sorry.

We use Firestone studded Winterforce tires. They are low priced, but probably not the very lowest. They are the best I have ever used. Any good radial snow tire will suffice. In Maine you have to take studded tires off in the spring. Many people mount their winter tires on a second set of wheels. It makes the seasonal changes much easier and you don't need to rebalance twice a year.

(Before somebody jumps in extolling the virtues of all season radials; Yes, they work, but snows are far better and these folks are in Fort Fairfield where we have real winters.)
