Is gas down for the election or down to stay? I'm hoping it's down to stay but I won't bet on it!
Doesn't it seem slower to fall than it was to rise given how fast crude has dropped?
Suits me fine...I still cringe when I fill the truck but at least I'm not nauseous!

$36 instead of $49 to fill my vehicle last week. I hope it stays down but I'm doubtful.

Why are they being allowed to do that when we're facing a recession? They should be flogged!

We're down to $2.58 now, and it's the first sigh I've breathed in months!

I had assumed it would go down for the election. I've noticed a trend that way for years now. Am I just a conspiracy theorist who should be treated with meds? Maybe. But I also was saying last spring that the crazy oil prices might in part have been a plot to get our green leaning populace to allow offshore drilling and drilling in Alaska. My oh my was I not surprised at "Drill baby drill".

OK Yes I should be medicated. A nice padded room vacation wouldn't feel so bad now either. LOL Seriously it is my hope that politics and the economy is more complex than a giant game of CIV and no small group of "Deciders" have that kind of control.

I figured it would drop as well the closer we came to election day. We have dropped a LOT in the last 10 or 12 days ($1.52 during that time). Whatever the reason, I'll take it while I can get it .

To the person who repped me and then said I wear a tin foil hat...it looks like I'm in good company. I don't think OPEC has much to do with the downward trend in prices.

This is too funny! My husband just said this to me the other night...that gas prices will lower, level off for the elctions and then do whatever once a new president is elected. He also thinks that the Red Sox long-winded battle for the ALE is a conspiracy to increase profits at the gate!
