Just my speculation. It is a lot of money for a townhouse, and it is very bland. By comparison, single family homes are selling for less in the area. There is nothing wrong with the area.

The schools are not bad, although the middle school (Wilde Lake) is not as highly-rated as some others in Columbia.

If you check Zillow, the house has actually been listed since August of 2015 with two price drops, down from $523,000. Zillow indicates the market is "cool" for this zip code, meaning a buyers market.

Priced way too high. Its in a good area but that home should not be anywhere near mid 400's.

I agree with the other posters... price is too high! The area and schools for this neighborhood are fine.

For perspective, these are Ryland townhomes. This one originally sold for $420,400 in 2013. It would mean appreciation of 11.8% in three years, and I am not sure a Columbia location justifies that.

And a nice brick house in Old Lutherville sold for 409,000 last year. That price is a joke.

They are chasing the market over there, trying to figure out where to land the price on those since they weren't built too long ago. The new construction 2 car garage styles are going for $560k in that neighborhood though if that gives you some perspective. This particular house was under contract but it fell through; which contributed to the high days on the market. Nice area!

Bring the price down, more like lower 400's.

IMO:
Outside looks drab
Dining is awkward
long bedroom is weird
on suite bathroom vanity looks dated and i HATE those type of shower doors
hall bath vanity looks dated
bath with pedistool sink- theres no storage.
backyard is too small
everything is the same color....

and that is my opinion and why i would be turned off.
