So I'm wondering about whether or not to cancel Green Mountain "clean energy" as opposed to billing through bge. Anyone have experience with this company? Supposed to be cheaper per kwh than what BGE charges. Did I get scammed?

They stopped at my house a few months ago. As it happened I had just finished getting that set of bills together to pay. BGE's KWH was less.

Not sure if this is the same Alt. Energy crew that works my neighborhood, but my stock answer is always "give me something in writing to review and I will get back to you." The folks up our way refuse, saying they have nothing to hand out. I tell them to come back if/when they have something in writing detailing the terms of the deal. They never do.............which to me means they are scammers.

Again, not sure if this is the same company you are considering or not.

Well after 3 months I found out it's variable. You save during the first 3 months and then POW! I cancelled. I SO want clean energy....and I wanted this to work. but we can't afford a HIGHER bill. ugh.
