I'm visiting Maryland in June to look at neighborhoods to possibly move to. I'm hoping not to pay more than 80 a day for hotel. I want to use public transportation as much as possible. Any suggestions? This one seems to be good so far: Microtel Inns & Suites | Linthicum Heights Maryland Hotel | Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 | Near BWI International Airport - 1.8 Miles, Maryland General Hospital - 5 Miles & Arundel Mills Mall - 6 Miles

Is it possible to live my car at the hotel and get around just about almost anywhere in between D.C. and Baltimore? I was hoping to be able to get the hotel shuttle everyday and catch public transportation.

Technically, I would think that this plan would work if the shuttle takes you to BWI. You can catch express buses (for example Metrobus B30 to Greenbelt Metro station), or trains (Amtrak or MARC) to either DC or Baltimore. Have extra money for a taxi if you miss getting back in time though.

You might have better luck if you check out the Sleep Inn or Comfort Inn & Suites in Linthicum, off Belle Grove Roads and 648. A lot of tourists stay there and walk to the light rail station.
