Thanks for replies to my earlier threads.

I learned that statue of limitation for debts in Maryland three (3) years.

What is the rational behind collection agency to place call and threat with lawsuit?

Will they able to file lawsuit and win for statue of limitation expired debts?

Thanks for sharing.

They think they can strong arm you into payment. Hire a lawyer, and sue them. They could end up paying you.
And surprise, they always crawl out of the woodwork around the end of the year. Around Thanksgiving into December.
These weasels buy a bundle of debts for pennies on the dollar, and see if they can make money on it.
Some states do not have the protections in place for it's citizenry and these lawyers can try to take advantage of you.
