While the USA does recognize "race" it is a matter of self-identification.

Many people have expressed the opinion that the US government should not be collecting data on race, for many reasons. One of the biggest is that "race" has no scientific definition, and is more a historical classification of human beings.

The argument for continuing to collect data is summed up: "...the measurable gains made in advancing a civil rights agenda to bring all Americans into the economic, political, and social mainstream would have been extremely difficult, if not impossible, if we did not have adequate information on racial and ethnic groups."

When I see a Mexican, I just consider them Mexican, nothing in particular like Spanish or Aztec or anything.
Nearly every mexican is part native american, maybe except 1% of them who are sons/daughters of recent foreigners, Even those with spanish "colonial" blood are very mixed, no matter if they mostly look white or not.

This. most mexicans are heavily amerindian, with substantial white blood and a minority but present black part.

White Hispanic and Latino Americans - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NO, Its self-identification, many self identify as white to have it easier socially wise. Out of the mexicans you see in US no more than 5% are really white, rest are lighskinned mestizos, or mainly mestizos with heavily amerindian ancestry (average mexican) and amerindians.

The only few really white hispanics you see in the US are white cubans and argentineans. Even light skin chicanos are almost always mestizos with light skin, you can see it clearly in their features, de la hoya and cain velasquez are mestizos with light skin, they dont have typical white facial features.

Christina aguilera is mixed, probably 25-30% amerindian with rest being white. Cameron diaz doesnt count because she is part cuban, and average cuban is way whiter than average mexican, and she is half non hispanic white american. Now alexis biedel is really white looking, But thats because she has an Argentinean dad of danish ancestry, hell his dad was probably way whiter looking than the average argentinean who is mostly spanish-italian ancestry..

So neither cameron diaz or alexis biedel count as examples.

The typical guy who is considered white in mexico would be someone such as de la hoya, but still make a genetic test he will probably score 30% amerind, you can easily notice he is latin american, despite looking more spanish than indio. He has some different head and face structure compared to 100% straight up europeans.

Dude Argentineans are wayyyyyy lighter than Cubans.

"He has some different head and face structure compared to 100% straight up Europeans."

What is an 100% straight up European anyways? Please go ahead and give us some examples, show us some side to side comparison of Oscar de la Hoya face structure with a typical white American face structure...go ahead

Even Canelo Alvarez who has frekels and read hair looks like he has amerindian in him by his facial structure.

Now what about former president Vicente Fox? Now he looks 100% European.

Vicente fox looks 100% european phenotypically wise which doesnt mean he doesnt have any amerindian ancestors down the family tree, the odds are quite high, considering even most latin americans who look fully european/caucasian have at least some amerindian blood, unless all their grandparents arrived Mexico in last few decades.

Canelo looks mixed, despite being a redhead with freckles. Both Canelo and de la hoya seem to be anywhere from 65-70% european and 30-35% amerindian solely based on phenotype, but you never know If phenotype will strictly correlate to genotype admixture, they could have more or less amerindian blood than their phenotypes apparently show.

thinking he knows everyone's ancestry just by looking at them.

sure dude, google the most indian looking Oscar de la hoya and then post it as your scientific evidence, and ignore my other questions.

How old are you dude like 27? Did you go to school for this or something?

Where are you from anyways?
