Hi - I am hoping someone in Mexico City may know where I can buy larger size ladies' shoes. I wear a size 11 in US sizing, so I think that would be roughly 7.5 to 8 in Mexico sizing. I am having a terrible time finding this size. I am thinking it doesn't exist here . Am I out of luck? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance...
I am going way back with this one as there was a very small town (went there with my future Mexican wife, her sister and US husband) for a visit as Mike wanted a custom pair of shoes made. That is what the town reputation was...making custom shoes to fit your feet. There used to to be a place in Mexico City where all kinds of shoe shops converged into one large building as I had been there also but sorry to say that was in the mid 1980's.
As large as the City is and the need for shoes both places might still be open for business.....ask at some of the larger shoe outlets....some ones bell might ring for you....after all they buy shoes to sell.
ZAPPOS.com has every size made. Don't know if they ship to Mexico.
Thanks for the suggestion--I had thought about Zappos. They may ship to Mexico, but getting them delivered to me is another story. I have had people send small packages and letters to me here, and I never get them. Package delivery here is tricky, to say the least.

Hi Steve Bagu---thanks for this! I now recall seeing this service in a town about an hour outside of the city in a town named Villa del Carbon. Although they mostly advertise custom-made men's cowboy boots, maybe they would make women's shoes, if asked! I travel through VdC sometimes. I will definitely inquire there next time I pass through.
