your kids would not feel like fish out of water in Pinecrest or Palmetto Bay....not at all. Places where they speak almost all spanish are places like Sweetwater, Little Havana and Doral. Not Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay. But remember Pinecrest if VERY pricey....Palmetto Bay is better

Both Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay are very nice areas. No need to speak Spanish in either neighborhood.

We are in the exact SAME boat!! We want to move to FL b/c of the nice weather & lifestyle & I'm trying to find a really nice area in Miami Dade too. We are in NJ right now & I'm sick of winter & it hasn't even begun yet!! Good luck with your move

I lived in Pinecrest, my daughter was going to go to Palmetto High School, it is a very nice school. She went to Gulliver instead, a very good private school in Pinecrest. Your kids will be fine not speaking Spanish in this area.
