Dragonflies rule! That's one thing I miss about South Florida! The swarms of Dragonflies! They zing back and forth in front of your car when you're driving down to Key Largo, and yet not a single one hits the windshield! Amazing!

It's been really pretty to see the dragonflys swarms. Always says that the ecosystem is healthy to me.

Bugs are awesome! I love mosquitoes because they hardly bother me but drive tourists and yuppies crazy. My new home is surrounded by insects and often I see big roaches flying around the windows or running up the walls at night. Dragonflies I have seen everywhere, even in the Miami area. They need water to breed, and around here they seem numerous every year in the summer.

Tallrick: I concur! I love bugs too (except mosquitos and fleas). That's one of the things that attracts me to South Florida. The fact that the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area is teeming with life! Dragonflies, Cicadas, Millipedes, Walking sticks, and that odd mysterious weird silly happy looking yellow bug that you'll see staring at you from a stack of brochures at the public library (yes, it's INSIDE the building) (what is it and what the hell is it doing there!? "Hi little fella!") that you might see once in your Florida Veteranship and probably will never see again, but this routine will be repeated innumerable times, each with a different insect that you'll probably never be able to identify, let alone see ever again! LOL!! XD

Ok, I like mosquitos because they feed the dragonflies!
