West Kendall - 2 helicopters have been stationed above neighborhood for over an hour, tons of armed cops blocking entrance. I'm listening to a police scanner but don't hear anything in area and nothing on news. Anything else I could check? Happened about a month ago and I never knew what happened then either.

Finally found something on nbc6. Says armed man barricaded in home with no hostages. There certainly were a ton of cops sent and 3 helicopters for someone that was inside his home with a gun. Seems strange. Maybe to prevent him from leaving the house?

NBC updated - the guy got out by the back door. The house backs onto 96th St. That's why they had two neighborhoods locked down, all those cops and helicopters. They still haven't found him.
