I am a 26-year-old professional who has celebrated New Year's Eve with family up in NYC for the past six years and have been unable to celebrate NYE in Miami. In fact, this will be my first time celebrating in Miami. The catch is: I'm single and many of my friends have gone their separate ways after graduation (back in May), so, I have no one to hang out with for new years.

No girl, no date, no friends, pretty much as if I am just starting over even though I have lived in Miami for about 7 years. What are some good hot spots to meet young, single, attractive women specifically for NYE? I have heard people claim women in Miami are even more receptive to guys on NYE and figure I might as well go out and celebrate even if I am on my own. Money is not an issue for the most part: I am willing to spend over $100 for an entertaining night, including a nice dinner, drinks, etc. at a party.

So, what is the best recommendation for a young male for NYE in Miami? With so many choices I have discovered, I just can't get myself to make a decision and figured this site is a good source for information and feedback. Thanks guys.

Sleep has always worked for me... $100 toward doing something fun somewhere else.

Winterfront and hmontaq, are you guys serious? Is it that difficult to enjoy yourself and perhaps meet women for NYE in Miami? LOL at sleeping. I am sure I am not the only single person in the entire city who wants to get out of the house and have a good time.

Sure, other guys may be competition, but I am good looking and make very good money. Most women in Miami seem to care about money too much.

When I lived on SoBe I never went into those tourist bars. Me and and all the neighbors would go get a six pack of Schaefer at the corner store for 2 bucks and sit out on the porch/balcony/sidewalk or in the lobby and party all night. See ya gotta LIVE on SoBe. That way you don't hafta pay any outrageous cover.
