I love farmers markets, but I don't know of any here. Instead, look for old box vans with folding doors on the side and writing like "verduras" spray painted on the doors. They usually hide off the beaten path so the won't be issued citations.

City of Miami needs to work on getting this. Every major city has a farmers market in the city core. NYC has a huge one, Nashville has a very nice one too. They need tomake sure the food is all from local farmers.

Someone call Manny Diaz and tell him to get on this.

Aren't farmer's markets more of a rural thing? I go to one every week or every other week but that's because I live in Homestead. If farmers can sell all oftheir excess produce in the rural areas close to where they work why should they drive all the way into the city? Isn't that kind of like asking someone who lives in the city to have a long commute to work in the countryside?

You type in your zip code.
