Seems every morning there is a reported previous evening shooting in Miami Gardens, Overtown, Liberty City, Opa-Locka. Anyone else notice this?

It's to be expected in neighborhoods like that. Those are dade county's worst, of course there will be shootings...

However, not many shootings in Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Kendall.

It's a shame that many of the crimes and the influence from up north of the city come down to those peaceful areas.

At least in the news, there were a lot of shootings reported last week, many around Overtown and Allapattah. I think in one night there were 3. I don't think this week they have reported that many.

It's a shame that there is so much crime in the first place. A lot of young people dying in those places.

You forgot to mention Coconut Grove. I live in West Coconut Grove and every other week there are shootings. And I don't hear about it on the news. I actually hear it with my own ears. It surprises me that news stations don't seem to report the shootings in this area so much. Or if they do it's for a very brief moment. And I know this because I make a point to watch the news when I hear bullets flying. I guess they don't want to scare the tourists away from Coco Walk.
