Does anyone know of anything to do for St. Patricks day around the Miami area? I heard there are some decent pubs and festivals but I have no clue where they are! Anyone know??

There is an Irish pub on the river downtown, called Finnegan's, I think it still there. In the Gables there is John Martins Pub, gets packed so get there early.

John Martins in Coral Gables gets crazy packed. You need to get there like at 5-6pm since it spills out into the street..

Ditto with 305 Guy.....John Martin's is THE place to be St.Patty's day in Miami. It's located in Coral Gables off Miracle Mile....very very hot spot. Tons of beautiful young professionals from the surrounding gables business district come here to party the night away. They pretty much close down the street as it spills onto the sidewalk. VERY VERY happening place to be..cannot stress this enough. THEE place to eat, drink and be seen. There are a couple Irish pubs in Coral Gables, two I think on Miracle Mile, there's some in Downtown too (very busy) and then there's tons around Miami Beach, especially down Washington Av, Alton Rd and Collins Av. Have fun!

John Martin's is always so much Fun! Highly HIGHLY recommend this place always. Everyone from the offices in and round the Gables/Grove head over there after work for their annual St. Patrick's Day festival. It's also a great meeting place! JohnMartins.com has all the info.
