There's a fox in Coconut Grove I keep seeing. It's a very populated area of North Grove, right off Tigertail. I've seen her a few times in the past couple months.

How uncommon are foxes in Florida? And where are they thrive?

They are not that uncommon. I saw a squirrel, but couldn't get pics of him either else I would have posted them here.

Foxes get a lot of commentary on the South Florida board, so I bet there are actually quite a few out there.

It does seem like we rarely get commentary on alligators or bobcats. I'm guessing because it's less surprising to see alligators here...people expect there to be more alligators. Now, the real question is why we don't get many posts about bobcats... which are also out there, usually prowling at night.

A lot of people think they see foxes at the corner of 79th and Biscayne. Some stop and try to give them a ride.

I know, there's no wildlife in Doral... oh but wait, I did take this picture of a meadowlark on April 15.
