I am moving to Miami and need help unloading a UHaul into a storage unit sometime in May. I really only need one person for 1-2 hours, dont really want to get a moving company or anything (dont need truck or anything, just a guy to lift stuff).

Now at my home now, if you need that you can go to Home Depot and negotiate with temporary workers there, easy to get someone to help you out with a project for a bit. Is this a valid way of getting help in Miami? Any other suggestions?

Yes there are plenty of people hanging around Home Depots looking for day jobs here as well.

Just pray that they don't get hurt while working on your property because they obviously don't carry any liability insurance or workers compensation.

And you need someone who speaks Spanish for the negotiation part.
