In one of the many freebie papers I was reading, I saw an ad for a half-day festival of sorts in Davisburg. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'm interested in attending for some research and information, but can't remember when it is, or what paper I even saw it in!

Definitely not RenFest, and not the barn festival - but that one is good to note, and I'll be able to glean some info there. I'm pretty sure they called it their "Heritage" festival, and it was 8am-1pm on some Saturday - probably this month, but I can't find it ANYWHERE. And Davisburg is so podunk I can't even find a website for the place that has any info. (Springfield Twp has nothing).

Maybe I was dreaming it!

It's not like Davisburg is much more than a small speck on the map (like Drayton Plains & Gingleville). Blink and you've missed it!!!!

The Ellis Barn Festival is held in conjunction with the Davisburg Heritage Festival, Saturday, October 10 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., sponsored by Oakland County Parks and Springfield Township Parks and Recreation.

The Davisburg Heritage Festival includes a pancake breakfast 8 – 10:30 a.m., as well as an antique tractor display, wagon ride park tours, historical and interpretive displays and “old time” crafts and games.

The Ellis Barn Festival features horse-drawn hayrides, barn tours, crafts, farm animals, pioneer toys, antique tractors and a mini-barn dance.

Parking and shuttle provided, courtesy of Oakland County Parks. The shuttle runs continuously throughout the day among the Ellis Barn, Civic Center, Mill Pond Park and cemetery.

Springfield Oaks County Parks is located at 12451 Andersonville Road in Davisburg.
