I recently went to meps for my full physical for the army I had all my medical documents I needed and the recruiter said I would have no problem, but when I did my full physical the docter said that he had to DQ me for my uveitis that I had a couple of years ago. So they sent my waiver up and it came back the next day as disapproved. I was wondering if the air force or marines would be more likely to grant me a waiver. In addition there is nothing wrong with my eye any longer it healed fine and I have perfict vision and depth perception in it.

Never know unless you try. But being that the USMC and USAF are smaller organizations than the USA and need less people, they can therefore be pickier. I wouldn't be surprised if your waiver was denied by the USMC and USAF.

I believe MEPs follows the same regulations on most medical issues.

Just talked to my recruiter today he said that they wouldn't even consider my waiver, and that he is trying to fight it because they said I was good to go for my full physical after seeing all my medical docs and knowing everything about what had happened, so I have a small chance that my waiver will actually be sent up the chain at least.
