Crew Chief..you out there..update (military, best, homes, aircraft)

You were so kind to answer my questions I thought I would update..

Kim is leaving but with the mindset if she is not where she wants to be as far as job and place of her own with in 1 year she will re-enlist.

She is aware the military will ship her stuff back here to NJ, she is now checking on if they will also ship her truck, if they don't she will be checking the $$ of car carriers....if that is to expensive she will drive back but my husband will fly out to San FRancisco to make the drive with her..we don't want her driving from California to NJ all by herself..

Hi NJKate! I've been told I'm "out there..." But glad to be of help! Sounds like things are falling into place for her! (Having the wonderful support from family helps so much, too!)

I know there are many others that frequent this forum can relate. It's never (er, sometimes it is...) an easy decision to leave the military. But there is life after the military. It works out very well for most. All it takes is some planning and effort.

All our best to Kim in her "afterlife"!

P.S. If she gets homesick, she could always drive by that aircraft carrier superstructure that's just off I-295...
