Retreat Centers - Watch what you say (dorms, transfer)

If you ever attend a 'retreat' in KC area, beware of some scams blackmailing participants later. None of these 'therapy' staff EVER show any licensure to practice mental care, which leaves you open to ANY kind of invasion of privacy, blackmail, trauma, emotional distress or terrible threats following the session that could bring you up against public ridicule unless you financially support the business or therapists. Beware, ALMOST ANY camera system could be recording audio and maybe even taping the private spaces like restrooms and dorms. If you have someone make threats against you after one of these retreats, you are a lucky one if you live out of town as you may be able to get away from the influence of these ill-intentioned scam artists. You may need to move just to be okay if this happens.

Some of these energy therapists in the KC area like Breathwork, Reiki, shaman stuff or energy transfer are trying to hide amongst the legit practioners. There scammers can ply anything on victims and you will have no board to complain to and sometimes no way to file law suit. If you find yourself in their company, I would never even give out my name much less a business card. These people in KC are into the wrong thing & you may not be able to get away from it.
