I was staying in a lodge in the Ozarks last weekend and did the bb check as usual and found stains on the mattress but they looked like they'd been scrubbed off and I saw no new signs. Did some further investigating and pulled up the mattress to look at the boards and they were clean so decided to take a chance. It was fine, but I'm guessing they did have a problem and got rid of them at some point. Ew!
