When MMA first came out I was not a fan but was a huge martial arts fan. I finally realize that actual combat and choreographed scenes are completely different. You would think that is obvious but before MMA came out you would watch old Bruce Lee Movies. The more I watch I can see the different styles that each fighter has mastered. I forget the dudes name that jumped off the cage. It look like Vega off of Street fighter 3. I hope the sport continues to gain popularity.

keep watching bud...the sport is constantly evolving, right now we're watching young guys that have only been training MMA for a few years, but specialize in usually the ground or stand up game, Jon "Bones" Jones being a prime example of a young guy with an exceptional ground game, but has learned to bang with the best!

in the years to come we'll see young MMA fighters that have been training MMA since they were kids...

yup

my son just turned 8 and has been training since he was 5. nearly 3 years, consider he has almost as much time training as jones does. he loves it, he does well, and provided he wants to stick with it (i have a feeling he will) i cant wait to see how he does when he gets older.
