Seems like too remote of a location to be successful in the long run for what he is going for.

I rarely go that way but if I happened to I would probably stop in and check it out.

{edit} I looked at the story and the Facebook page and I will say something like this is something I would support if I was closer. Across the river from me in Marietta Ohio they have the Galley/Adelphia Music Hall where they have been able to attract at least second level talent. Marshall Crenshaw, Reverend Horton Heat, Steve Forbert, etc.

The food is a bit pricey but you live with it to get to see some good shows without having to drive for hours. I wish them well and success.

I am not an entrepreneur but I think that is the issue. It seems too far to really attract too many people. Sure it might be packed at first, people are curious, but if the food isnt good people wont comeback. It seems like he wanted to create a bar type place, but a stripmall is not a good area for this. People have to drive there and back. It seems like closer to university would have been a better location for this, but like I said im not an entrepreneur. It could be a huge success.

Hey guys,

This is the same location that Rhythm 'N Brews used to be. If you have ever been there, the building is actually relatively large, has a good amount of parking and isn't exactly located in a strip mall. Heck, it even has an outdoor patio that is secluded from everything. RnB used to be pretty successful until it was mismanaged a bit. It has a shot to make if if he and the management bring in a good set of acts.

Cheers!

The first two nights the place was so busy they had to turn people away at the door because of occupancy restrictions. I think we have a winner!

Too early to say. Hostetler's restaurant was a big hit too for a few months. Same with Stewarts place on Pittsburgh. It is the opening. I'd wait a year or two before declaring it successful.
