As far as I know, yes. There's not much happening publicly because the current tenants' leases have yet to run out, so you won't see any work until next fall at the earliest.

Elewis, last I heard was that the May leases had to expire before anything was to happen.

I figured that was the plan, but I haven't seen any applications through the BZA or Planning Commission, and I think I may have seen a new For Rent sign on the properties in question for Phase I. Maybe Panico is focusing on his Chestnut Hotel and the entire 341 Live concept and making sure it is successful before he sets his sights over in Sunnyside.

Really hope this happens. Aesthetically, this is the biggest project for Morgantown out of all the new construction. I especially like the proposed renderings.

Cursory search led me to this, an article from a couple months ago which mentions Manhattan Place's (Panico) conceptual plans for an extended stay hotel (Phase III) in Sunnyside. Looks like it's still a go.
